About the Role:
We are seeking an organized and people-focused HR Specialist to lead and support our employee onboarding and training programs. This role plays a key part in delivering a seamless and engaging new hire experience, while also developing training content and processes that help employees grow from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

🚀 Onboarding

  • Coordinate and execute all aspects of new hire onboarding from offer acceptance to orientation completion.

  • Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and resources.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create structured onboarding schedules for each role.

  • Ensure compliance with all onboarding paperwork, systems setup, and background checks.

📘 Training & Development

  • Assist in designing and delivering training programs for both new and existing employees.

  • Monitor training completion, track progress, and evaluate program effectiveness.

  • Support internal subject matter experts in creating department-specific training materials.

  • Update and maintain LMS (Learning Management System) content and records.

🤝 General HR Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for onboarding and training-related inquiries.

  • Assist with continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.

  • Support cross-functional HR initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in onboarding or employee training.

  • Strong knowledge of onboarding best practices and adult learning principles.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, and LMS platforms).

  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with platforms like Netsuite and Hubspot.

  • Familiarity with e-learning development tools (e.g., Canva, Articulate, or similar).

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
