HR Specialist with Focus On Onboarding & Training

We are seeking an organized and people-focused HR Specialist to lead and support our employee onboarding and training programs. This role plays a key part in delivering a seamless and engaging new hire experience, while also developing training content and processes that help employees grow from day one.
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of new hire onboarding from offer acceptance to orientation completion.
- Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and resources.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create structured onboarding schedules for each role.
- Ensure compliance with all onboarding paperwork, systems setup, and background checks.
- Assist in designing and delivering training programs for both new and existing employees.
- Monitor training completion, track progress, and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Support internal subject matter experts in creating department-specific training materials.
- Update and maintain LMS (Learning Management System) content and records.
- Serve as a point of contact for onboarding and training-related inquiries.
- Assist with continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.
- Support cross-functional HR initiatives as needed.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in onboarding or employee training.
- Strong knowledge of onboarding best practices and adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, and LMS platforms).
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with platforms like Netsuite and Hubspot.
- Familiarity with e-learning development tools (e.g., Canva, Articulate, or similar).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
